This virtual session is the first component of a two-part training designed to prepare Guam agencies and component units for implementing GASB 101 for FY2025 reporting. It introduces the standard’s core requirements for recognizing, measuring, and disclosing compensated absences, and outlines the documentation, data needs, and preparatory steps agencies should complete before the on-site follow-up sessions in Guam. Participants will gain a clear understanding of in-scope leave types, the revised measurement methodology, transition considerations, and the practical actions needed to support accurate FY2025 compensated absences reporting.
