Course Description
Congratulations on your organization's successful acquisition of Federal grant funds! You are now entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring these funds are managed efficiently and effectively to meet the grant objectives. Do you think you are ready? Do you know all the administrative requirements that go along with Federal funds? Does your organization have the infrastructure to allow you to ensure that the grant objectives are met? If you cannot answer yes to all these questions, then this course may help you. The New Grantee Orientation course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of managing Federal grants.
At the completion of this course, you will be familiar the administrative requirements for non-federal entities. In particular, we will address:
This course is intended for grantees of federal funds either as a direct recipient or as a sub-recipient. The attendees should be those individuals in the management and administration of grants that involve Federal Funds.
For all on-site training in the insular areas, the Graduate School USA's Pacific and Virgin Islands Training Initiatives (PITI-VITI) works closely with local training hosts to ensure that participants, instructors, and training support staff enjoy a safe learning experience.
