Course Description

You are a grant manager and need contractors to help you achieve your grant objectives.  Does your organization have the administrative knowledge of the various Federal requirements to ensure that the contract is awarded properly?  Is the proper contract type being used?  Does your organization perform a cost and price analysis before awarding a contract?  If you cannot answer yes to all these questions, then this course may help you.  

In order to meet the grant objectives, recipients are required to obtain goods and services through contracts, The purpose of this course is to assist you in managing, reviewing or auditing contracts issued using pandemic relief funds.

Upon the completion of this course, you will be able to;

  • Explain the requirements under 2 CFR 200 for contracts awarded under grants.
  • Compare different types of contracts allowed under grants.
  • Describe the role of auditors and others involved in awarding, managing and closing out contracts awarded under grants.

This course is designed for employees working for LBJ Tropical Medical Center.
