Course Description

This 1½-day introductory course teaches the essentials of governmental accounting and financial reporting. Designed for beginners, it provides hands-on practice in the full accounting cycle—from recording transactions to preparing financial statements. Participants learn fund types, account reconciliation, and essential internal controls
