Course Description

The grants course will provide basic requirements for managing grants, including the responsibilities of recipients and key tasks that must be completed during the project period.  This course will be most informative for administrative and program staff from organizations awarded a new grant.  You’ll learn how to find resources and know what is necessary to manage grants in compliance

  • Implement effective strategies for compliance
  • Execute post-award amendments
  • Know the financial requirements for accountability
  • Understand roles and responsibilities between the Overall Accountable Grant Lead / Department for Guam (i.e., Federal Grants Supervisor / Dept of Administration) and the Agency / Grantee)

With funding support from the United States Department of the Interior, Office of Insular Affairs, courses are available free of charge for government accountability professionals within the insular areas.
