This course is available free of charge to U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health personnel and grant recipients, thanks to ASTHO and the CDC. Course Description

The Awarding and Management of Contracts module is designed for participants who manage, review, or audit contracts. It addresses the requirements for obtaining goods and services through contracts to meet grant objectives. The module covers understanding the right contract types, conducting cost and price analyses, and complying with Federal requirements under 2 CFR 200. Participants will gain the ability to explain the requirements under 2 CFR 200 for contracts awarded under grants, compare different types of contracts permitted under grants, and describe the roles of auditors and others in awarding, managing, and closing out contracts.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for the US Virgin Islands Department of Health and recipients of grant funds from the US Virgin Islands Department of Health. In order to meet the grant objectives, recipients are required to obtain goods and services through contracts. The purpose of this course is to assist you in managing, reviewing, or auditing contracts issued using pandemic relief funds.
