With funding support from the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), this course is available free of charge to the Puerto Rico Department of Health personnel and recipients of grants from the Puerto Rico Department of Health. The course fee is waived and there is no cost to register and to attend.

Course Description

This seminar equips territorial officials involved in grant management with the skills to respond effectively to audit findings by developing effective and reflective corrective action plans (CAPs). Participants will learn how to analyze audit results, identify root causes, and design actionable steps to address deficiencies and prevent future non-compliance. The session covers best practices for communicating with auditors, stakeholders, and funding agencies to demonstrate accountability and commitment to continuous improvement. Attendees will leave with practical tools and strategies to transform audit findings into opportunities for enhancing program integrity and performance.
