This virtual course will be delivered regionally via Zoom.
Registration is open to insular government professionals.
Participation in this session is limited to Pacific island auditors and staff.
Unprecedented amounts of U.S. Federal spending for COVID relief are distributed to States, Territories, and the Freely Associated States. The volume and speed of this spending makes it a critical topic for island auditors. This two-hour session will convene an expert panel of auditors to consider past audit work on U.S. COVID spending, the current opportunities and challenges for COVID auditing, and the future of COVID audits in the region. Island auditors will find the program both timely and important in supporting their accountability mission.
The session will be of interest to island audit and accountability professionals interested in prior and current audit work in the field, as well as next steps for Pacific Island COVID auditing.
With funding support from the United States Department of the Interior, Office of Insular Affairs, courses are available free of charge for government accountability professionals within the insular areas. The course fee is waived and there is no cost to register and attend, Professionals who do not meet the above criteria, please contact [email protected]
