With funding support from the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), this course is available free of charge to the Puerto Rico Department of Health personnel and recipients of grants from the Puerto Rico Department of Health. The course fee is waived and there is no cost to register and to attend.
Course Description
This seminar offers territorial government officials a comprehensive approach to securing grant funding, combining proven search and application strategies with an in-depth understanding of the Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Law. Participants will learn how to effectively identify, evaluate, and apply for federal and private grants, focusing on infrastructure development opportunities. The session covers key provisions of the Infrastructure Law, eligibility requirements, compliance expectations, and best practices for crafting compelling proposals. Through real-world examples and hands-on exercises, attendees will leave with actionable strategies to position their projects competitively in the grant landscape and leverage available funds to maximize impact.
