Manny Hechanova has over 25 years in the Information Technology industry as a teacher and consultant. His current research focuses on social network data analysis and data visualization. Currently, Manny is the Interim Chief Information Officer and Associate Director for Telecommunication And Distance Education Operation at the University of Guam. In these roles, he is responsible for the campus network, enterprise applications, research infrastructure, online learning platform/tools, and local/regional partnerships. Manny is a four-year U.S. Air Force veteran and credits his military experience as the starting point of his IT career.
