Esther Lameko-Poutua is the Chief Executive of the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI), responsible for leading the PASAI Secretariat team to deliver the strategic plan, to engage and support Supreme Audit Institutions in the Pacific region to deliver their individual objectives and responsibilities while working closely with stakeholders and development partners.
Esther Lameko-Poutoa is a Chartered Accountant who has been in public practice in Samoa. She worked in Samoa’s public sector for 25 years at the Office of the Controller & Auditor General and more recently served nine years as CEO of the Samoa National Provident Fund.

Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace
This session explores the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in our daily lives and the workplace. The presentation will provide an overview of AI fundamentals, highlight where AI appears in our daily lives, and introduce generative tools such as Large Language Models (LLMs). The session will also cover AI prompting techniques, explore key challenges and issues in the AI landscape, and offer sample prompts that can be used in professional settings.
Strengthening Collaboration for Oversight: SAIs and Stakeholders
This session explores the oversight role of SAIs and how they can work with key stakeholders to hold the government to account.
